American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a maternal-fetal OB / GYN clinic role, requiring 2+ years of OB / GYN ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

Outpatient clinic specializing in maternal-fetal and midwifery careOB / GYN patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatricsPerform GYN scans, dating / viability, anatomy, growth, NT, and BPP ultrasoundsExpectation of 10 ultrasounds per day in a two-room clinic with approximately 20 patient visits dailyEquipment used includes GE Expert 22, GE E8, and V-scan ProAir systemsUtilizes Epic for charting; experience is requiredMonday through Friday schedule, working 8-hour day shifts from 08 : 00 to 16 : 30No call, floating, or weekend requirementsMain duties include conducting OB and GYN scans, including dating, anatomy, growth, NT, and BPP studiesWork collaboratively with a team of midwives and MDs in a supportive outpatient environmentOrientation consists of 40 hours and is required during the first weekRoyal blue scrubs are required but are not providedNo more than 7 days of requested time off allowed, and none permitted during orientationCandidates must be able to accommodate potential changes in start dates and training schedulesPrevious permanent or per diem staff must wait at least 12 months before applying as a traveler and require approval for rehireCandidates living within 50 miles may be offered at a local rate\n \n
