We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic accounting skills, organizational abilities, and a flexible, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate is also comfortable interacting with children in a professional and friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including document preparation, data entry, and calendar management
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for various tasks
- Perform light accounting duties such as accounts receivables
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Run errands as needed (e.g., office supplies, mail, local pickups)
- Assist with occasional childcare-related tasks or supervision during office hours
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanorespecially around children
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree a plus)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a family-run business environment
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
