Overview
Allied Universal is hiring a Field Supervisor to support operations for remotely managed accounts by performing on-site supervision of Security Professionals (SPs) and ensuring site coverage at all times. The Field Supervisor works closely with Operations Managers on a day-to-day basis to supervise remote service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned post locations on a regular basis to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and conduct post inspections to ensure professional image and quality standards are maintained. Post inspections include checking that the Post Order manual and all other post and training information are properly maintained and updated, and that the post is clean and organized.
- Conduct on-the-job training, in coordination with site supervision, of new employees assigned to a post, or when changes to post orders are made; this may include review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs.
- Respond to call-offs during the shift, identify other individuals to fill in, and assist with scheduling for call-offs or changes at the site.
- Identify personnel problems at posts (e.g., payroll issues, employee relations concerns) and report to Operations Manager and / or Corporate HR; may write a report or assist with an investigation as directed.
- Administer counseling or disciplinary actions initiated by Branch Manager and / or Corporate HR Director under direction, not on own initiative.
- Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office, obtain signed acknowledgments or documents, and return documents to the Branch or Corporate office.
- Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, ensuring appropriate communication to Operations and / or Branch Manager.
Qualifications (Must Have)
High school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements subject to state / local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employmentValid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and : No major violations within last 36 months; No more than one at-fault accident in last 24 months; No more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months; No combination of one at-fault accident and one minor moving violation in last 24 monthsMinimum of three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experienceAbility to write effective and concise reports in legible handwritingAble to use good independent judgment and discretionOutstanding oral and written communication skillsAbility to interact successfully at all levels of the organization, including clientsDemonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize multiple assignments, and manage deadlinesQualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience in scheduling, operations management, or other leadership functions of the security industryPrior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or militaryWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsBenefits
