Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS (AB) and RVT certifications for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a general ultrasound department performing general, vascular, and OB ultrasound scans
  • Day shift schedule : 5x8 hour shifts, 12 : 00 PM to 8 : 30 PM
  • Call and holiday coverage is minimal and on a rare PRN basis
  • May float between main and South campus locations
  • Performs a variety of general, vascular, and OB ultrasound examinations as needed
  • Minimal call and holiday coverage, as scheduled
  • Must be prepared to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment

    • Requirements

  • Must have ARDMS (AB) and RVT credentials
  • Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound tech program preferred
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Must provide two recent supervisory references from the past three years
  • License required if applicable
  • Travel experience highly preferred
  • Candidates must live more than 110 miles from the facility
