About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have Skills / Experience :

Experience in anxiety, depression, manic disorders, borderline personality, and suicidal ideation.

Description :

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.

Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatry.

Successful candidates will be required to pass background checks, including criminal and child abuse portions.

Drug testing is mandatory and must screen for opiates.

Current titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB are required.

Candidates will be expected to float within a 25-mile radius if necessary.

The adult patient population ranges from 18 to 65 years old.

The average daily census is around 7 patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6.

Electronic Health Record system utilized is MediTech.

Candidates are encouraged to have travel experience.

Flexibility for Monday or Tuesday start days is allowed.

Candidates should be prepared to adhere to the dress code and scrub color policies.
