Sales Solutions Engineer

As a Sales Solutions Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our Sales Organization, dedicated to facilitating the sale of cutting-edge technical solutions to both new and existing clients. This role requires a unique blend of technical mastery, exceptional communication, and a proven track record in selling complex enterprise solutions. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling data models for customer business cases, meticulously aligning client needs with our proposed solutions, and delivering powerful presentations and demonstrations that inspire confidence and secure partnerships.

What You Will Do :

  • Support the Sales team in solution selling to new prospects and existing accounts.
  • Conduct discovery calls to gather prospect requirements for effective solutioning and demos.
  • Contribute to cross-selling efforts across the Trimble portfolio.
  • Build strong customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Help prospects effectively utilize our products to solve their challenges.
  • Present relevant product features during live demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Analyze use cases to determine potential ROI and create results documents summarizing scenarios and cost savings.
  • Assist Sales in completing RFP / RFI responses.
  • Maintain updated demo environments.
  • Communicate client needs to Product teams for enhancements and report bugs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer support) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to improving sales processes and strategies.
  • Provide guidance and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.

What We Are Looking For :

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Data Analyst, Transportation Manager, or related position.
  • Private fleet transportation knowledge and an understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, and an ability to communicate with prospects at all organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and ability to use data to influence prospects.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to clearly and creatively explain complex technical concepts.
  • Adept at building strong, lasting relationships with prospects at all organizational levels.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • Valid Passport and willingness to travel up to 25% within the assigned territory.
  • Bonus : Familiarity with Trimble's Appian line of products.

    Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and / or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

    Hiring Range : $87,500-92,500

    OTE : $107,500-112,500

    Pay Rate Type : Salary + Commission
