About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Sleep Technologist

Profession : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Specialty : Pediatric Sleep Tech / Polysomnographic Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : ND state license or willingness to obtain prior to start

Certifications : BLS (AHA), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT

Must-Have : BLS certification

RPSGT certification

ND state license or willingness to obtain prior to start

Minimum 2 years of pediatric and / or NICU sleep study experience

Description :

The role involves performing quality diagnostic polysomnographic procedures.

Titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests will be conducted.

Relevant and accurate data will be recorded and provided to physicians for diagnostic use.

This data assists in the treatment of patients with sleep / wake disorders.

Computerized charting will be utilized.

Natus software is used for sleep studies.

Pediatric and / or NICU sleep study experience is required.

The employee will have support from adult sleep techs scheduled with them, ensuring safety and collaboration.

No call or weekend work is required.

The unit comprises two pediatric beds.

Dark gray scrubs are required as part of the dress code.

Training will be provided by the team, focusing on pediatric and / or NICU sleep study experience.
