Overview
Staff Electrical Engineer role at Oceaneering. Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) develops, manufactures, and operates customized marine systems, shipboard equipment, subsea vehicles, and engineered solutions for commercial and U.S. military vessels. Oceaneering Aerospace and Defense Technologies (AdTech) delivers solutions that enable humans to work safely in harsh environments. The position is part of the Oceaneering Aerospace and Defense Technologies (ADTECH) engineering team within the Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) group, focusing on power and control systems for underwater robotic and electromechanical systems for US Navy and other DoD customers.
Most projects are one-of-a-kind, offering ongoing opportunities to design, build, test, and iterate in a hands-on environment. The role emphasizes both engineering design and practical build / test activities to ensure workable solutions.
