Public Relations Professional
Flynn Wright is seeking an experienced strategic public relations and social media professional to oversee social media, content development and PR initiatives. The role involves collaborating with clients to develop and execute PR strategies and plans for both consumer and business-to-business audiences.
About You
You’re a public relations professional with expertise in social media and strategic communications. You’ll be responsible for managing public relations, content development strategies, and social media programs for both consumer and B2B clients. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to develop and execute PR strategies and plans, ensuring that their messages resonate with their target audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and diverse background in strategic communications, including experience in developing plans, producing content, media outreach, engaging audiences, and evaluating results. Experience in media relations is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary agency contact for all client PR needs; assist with or lead planning and implementation of strategic communication efforts.
- Provide PR consultation, implementing media relations and social media programs, and planning and creating PR content.
- Serve as an agency SME in all facets of strategic communications / PR, including media relations and corporate communications, audience engagement, content planning and development, and social media.
- Serve as the primary client contact, key strategist and primary go-to in several situations that help advance our clients’ brand reputation and general marketing objectives — which could span traditional public relations and marketing communications, as well as new forms of advertising.
- Be versatile and flexible, putting diverse skills and experience to work both proactively and reactively.
Qualifications
Two to five years of related experience required.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.Great communication skills, and proactive problem-solver who’s eager to learn about the business of our clients.A mindset that makes it possible to work with multiple people on multiple projects, applying public relations principles and strategies.Excellent public speaking skills.Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for external publications.Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and outlets.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Perks + Benefits
