CD PROJEKT RED is on the lookout for a

Senior Level Artist

to join our studio and help bring to life Project Sirius. We’re searching for someone with strong skills in visual storytelling and a passion for creative world-building and how it interacts with game design and playability.

Daily Responsibilities

Creating locations that provide the best player experience.

Supporting evocative environmental storytelling through detailed and creative set dressing.

Collaborating with the Art Director and Art Leads to maintain artistic consistency and the game’s visual vision while building immersive levels and scenes.

Working with the tech art team to set up materials and shaders for high-quality visuals.

Defining environmental effects for your locations.

Collaborating with Level Designers, Quest, and Story teams to create unforgettable locations.

Building locations that align with the technical specifications set by the Tech Art team.

Adding finishing touches to locations and cutscenes using existing meshes and decals.

Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Level Design or World Building in the game industry.

Experience with Unreal Engine 5 or similar game engines.

Strong understanding of light, value, composition, color, set dressing, and environmental storytelling.

Proven experience in world-building and its interaction with game design and player experience.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, time management, and collaboration skills.

Open-World Building experience is a plus.

US work authorization.

Preferred

Strong artistic abilities, whether in traditional or digital media.

Modeling experience.

Experience in lighting for game environments.

Familiarity with the technical requirements of current game consoles, including memory and performance considerations.
