This Opportunity :
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality of the installation on the projects from planning through closing and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project quality management support for assigned projects under the direction of the Senior Project Manager and Director of Quality. The position provides daily quality assurance on the installation and testing. This position ensures the safe and on-time delivery of high-quality installation services to the customer to the contract documents and industry standards.

- Develop and maintain Non-compliance Register.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured installation and test plans.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality control and testing activities.
- Design, develop, and execute QA scheduled reports (e.g. defects, installation deficiencies, project timelines and project level QA measurements).
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Perform thorough review of all testing documentation and maintain all of that documentation for close out.
- Monitor and inspect all operations that affect quality to align with industry and customer standards.
- Facilitate communications with internal and external teams to identify system requirements, failures, and process improvements.
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis reports.
- Monitor corrective action process results.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming products and train users to implement QC solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defects, marginal results, and project specific KPI's.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Train installers, where necessary, on testing methodologies.
- Assist Project Manager with reporting requirements.
- Schedule quality walks with internal team and customer.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates and progress.
- Manage customer acceptance and signoff.
- Gather and review all close out documents for contract and Div 27 compliance.
Needs for Success :
Proven work experience in Infrastructure deployment.Ability to implement and monitor a quality assurance program.Strong knowledge of Project / Construction QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with QC implementation.Solid knowledge of testing and installation methodologies.Experience working in data center builds.Experience with fiber and copper performance testing.Strong Knowledge of TIA, NEC, BICSI and data center installation standards.Extensive knowledge of Safety protocols, processes and procedures.Ability to perform root cause analysis investigations and prepare reports.Ability to train technicians on dressing, cleaning, splicing and testing.Knowledge of various quality platforms.Able to report and read out project information to all stakeholders as needed or required.Ability to develop and manage presentations.Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, including excellent customer service skills.Ability to effectively present to small and large groups.Disciplined, detail oriented, organized, and self-driven.Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems, conflicts, and issues.Proficient in using a computer and business / industry applications - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk and others.What You Bring to the Table :
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry in a management or leadership role. Experience overseeing and managing the quality of large structured cabling projects and / or data center construction projects highly preferred.Experienced in training technicians and quality standards.Preferred professional certifications :OSHA-30 Hour certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment).Quality management.BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).BICSI Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC).Supervisory Responsibility :
This position may be assigned resources to direct on a project-by-project basis.
Work Location and Travel :
On project site in Rosemount, MN daily with up to 15% travel.
