Kiddie Academy of Five Forks has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic and inspiring educator to join our family us as a Full-Time teaching assistant. This position will serve in a variety of age groups so flexibility is essential. Anticipated hours will be Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM.

Candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible and love working with young children. Education in Early Childhood and experience are preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include assisting with general classroom management, lesson and craft preparation and completing digital daily reports. Flexibility is essential in this position.

Teachers at Kiddie Academy of Five Forks are treated like professional educators, because they are! They receive comprehensive on-boarding and training, planning time, an hour lunch break each day, a classroom budget for needed items, support with lesson planning and classroom management. Most annually required trainings can be completed during paid hours. Our environment is highly team-oriented with supportive and present leadership. We have a teacher workroom including teacher computers, a laminator, copiers / scanner, curriculum guides, classroom supplies etc. Kiddie Academy of Five Forks is a team oriented workplace where everyone is valued and contributes to the overall goal of serving our children and families well.

Each classroom has a structured schedule with time for the children to go to the gym, library, Enrichment Room and playground each day.

Ensure that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed. At Kiddie Academy, we desire for our teaching assistants to truly engage with their assigned classroom and not just be a temporary "warm body."

Pay Rate : Pay rate is based on experience and credentials, but starts no lower than 14.50 per hour.
