The Missouri Historical Society is accepting applications from current college students who are interested in event coordination and seek a paid internship within the Development Department for the Spring 2026 semester (January-May). The Development Events Intern will assist the Special Events Manager with planning and executing special events and, with guidance from the Special Events Manager, lead the planning of an event. This event will be decided at the beginning of the internship and reflect the intern's interests.
Schedule
This is an in-person internship at the Missouri History Museum with a limited hybrid-work option. The intern will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week for 12 to 15 weeks, with a flexible schedule between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. The Development Events Intern will help execute and attend events, many of which take place after 6pm. The final schedule will be determined with the supervisor.
