Your Role :
- Grow Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)’s revenue by promoting and cultivating interest in MobilePack™ remote packing events.
- Build and strengthen relationships with individuals, churches, corporations and organizations to solicit and contract hosting and funding commitments.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits :
T he anticipated starting pay range is $68,500 - $73,000.This compensation range considers a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences, as well as internal equity.This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position.Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday during regular business hours.Occasional evening / weekend hours required.Frequent local travel for meetings and events.Approximately 25-30% expenses-paid domestic travel is required.Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, FSA, dental, vision, and more.Detailed benefit information can be found here :
https : / / www.fmsc.org / about-us / careers / fmsc-benefits What You’ll Do : Meaningfully engage with current and prospective MobilePack hosts in assigned multi-state territory.Foster and strengthen relationships.Inspire hosts to become more invested in feeding kids.Make weekly contacts through phone, email and face-to-face.Solicit engagement, express thanks and offer prayer.Encourage and guide hosts through the event process.Update records in the donor database.Analyze host and community involvement history and potential for event growth.Create and execute a plan for event growth with the goal of retaining hosts and increasing engagement.Travel to event locations to build relationships with event hosts, prospect for future hosts in the area, and connect with major donors and philanthropists.Plan and book travel itinerary, including flights, transportation, hotel, etc.Follow-up with hosts after event completion to celebrate meals shipping out to their final destination, and plan the host’s future involvement with FMSC.Record and update event information in database.Engage new hosts through networking, referrals and pursuing relationships.Collaborate on strategic fundraising initiatives with the Development team.Collaborate with manufacturing team on event background and details.Partner through event execution.Record personal donor touchpoints and donor / prospect information in database.Share donor relations successes and best practices with peers.Provide timely status updates for event re-booking and prospecting to MobilePack leadership to assist in forecasting.Administer event contract and invoicing process from inception through completion.Perform other duties as assigned.Your Qualifications :
Commitment to support, promote and authentically communicate FMSC’s Christian mission and goals.Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of development or sales experience required.In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience is considered.Experience meeting sales / fundraising goals, increasing prospect / host engagement, and making the “ask” and “close” with hosts / prospects is required.Experience using effective interpersonal and customer service skills to build strong host relationships is required, including in-person and phone interactions.Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.Experience with donor / sales databases preferred.Engaging storyteller.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.Adept in public speaking.Self-directed with high level of energy, self-motivation and independence with limited direct supervision.Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy and follow-through.Your Team :
