POSITION DESCRIPTION DBL Law is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist / Office Assistant for the Louisville, KY location. This position will provide general support for the attorneys and paralegals in the office with primary responsibilities including answering phones, greeting visitors and general office management.

The position offers competitive salary, good benefits and a comfortable team environment.

The ideal candidate can work Monday-Friday in the morning hours, around 25 hours a week.

Successful candidates should have a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Candidates must be dependable, self-motivated, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent attention to detail.

JOB DUTIES Answer incoming calls for a 12-person office.

Greet visitors to the office including clients and vendors.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail.

Keep common areas including conference rooms, kitchen, and lobby in a condition that is welcoming to visitors and staff.

Assist attorneys and paralegals with daily tasks and special projects as requested.

Assist in maintaining office and attorney calendars by scheduling meetings, conferences, depositions, travel, court appearances, etc., as requested.

Proofread and correct prepared materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format and content.

Set up files for new work as it comes in.

Maintain files of correspondence and other records.

Maintain contact lists in Outlook.

Make deliveries including courthouse filings and other errands as needed.

Must have reliable personal transportation.

Maintain client confidential information.

Thoroughness and attention to detail.

Professionalism, respect flexibility, and a positive team attitude.

Other duties as assigned.    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Have excellent attention to detail.
