Administrative Support Assistant
Penn State Extension, Lebanon County, is seeking to hire a part time Administrative Support Assistant.
Job duties to include :
- Working closely with the regional Extension Business Operations Manager and Client Relationship Manager, County Extension Educators, and other Administrative Support Assistants to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Lebanon County Cooperative Extension office
- Assisting with county Extension program and events coordination; providing administrative support for Master Gardener and Master Watershed Steward volunteer programs, and providing customer relationship support
- Coordinating office communications, multimedia product and publication development, and social media (Facebook, Penn State websites, etc.)
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements, qualifications, and / or competencies :
Requires 1+ years of related experience and a High School diploma or higher.Requires the occasional operation of a motor vehicle. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.Requires proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Salesforce client management software.Requires excellent grammar and proofreading skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, being attentive to details, having the ability to manage multiple priorities / deadlines, and the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.Schedule and Location :
Schedule : 24 hours per week in the office; schedule will be determined by the Business Operations Manager in discussion with the candidate and would be daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings / weekends to support events / meetingsOffice location : Penn State Extension Lebanon County, Lebanon County Agricultural Center building, 2120 Cornwall Road, Suite 1, Lebanon, PA.Compensation : $17.50 / hour
