We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Marina Del Rey, California. This contract position requires a proactive individual with strong financial management skills to oversee bookkeeping and operational tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the efficient functioning of the office.
Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
- Oversee expense tracking and payment schedules to align with organizational budgets and financial goals.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial data for reporting and audits.
- Maintain proficiency in QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.
- Verify revenue records by cross-checking data with relevant tax documentation.
- Create and distribute invoices, while tracking payments to ensure proper documentation.
- Support office operations by ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and managing documentation for payroll submission.
- Assist with event logistics, including travel arrangements and vendor coordination, as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and board members to provide administrative support and ensure smooth communication.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other relevant accounting software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data management.
