AQ Operational Systems Engineer

This position requires an ACTIVE Top Secret / SCI Clearance with Polygraph. To be considered for this position, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph.

Roles & Responsibilities : The contractor shall use advanced technical skills to design, develop, enhance, and maintain new and existing mission-focused software capabilities that directly support operations. The contractor will work as an integrated member of a cross-disciplinary team with flexibility to adapt development requirements to frequently changing operational scenarios in a fast-paced environment. The contractor must be able to independently apply advanced knowledge of software development, testing and evaluation, cyber security and mission requirements to develop and maintain mission critical programs.

Mandatory Requirements :

• Full life cycle software development and testing experience
• Professional experience and demonstrated ability with at least one systems-level programming language, such as : GoLang, C++, C
• Comprehensive skill in one or more scripting languages, such as : Python, Perl, Bash
• Proven track record of delivering working software solutions to meet a mission need
• Experience in debugging, software build pipelines, and code review
• Experience developing for Linux servers and using the Linux command-line environment
• Experience with configuring Linux servers / VMs and utilities to match real-world scenarios
• Experience with standard Web technologies such as : HTTP(1 / 2), JSON, Apache / Nginx / etc. reverse proxies
• Familiarity with SQL queries and database engines such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of network topology and standard internet communications protocols
• Ability to research and develop solutions from high-level objectives and requirements; must be eager to learn
• Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements
• Works well both independently and must be a team player with strong communication skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office; and work well in an open, collaborative environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
