About The Position

Job Title : Echo Sonographer

Profession : Ultrasound Tech

License : Registered in Echocardiography

Certifications : Required certifications : ARDCS or CCI

Must-Have Skills / Experience : Adult Echo, Stress Echo, TEE

Description :

Orientation occurs every week on Mondays.

This facility operates as a tertiary care regional referral hospital.

It holds a Level 1 Trauma Center designation.

The facility has a Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery.

The patient population includes geriatrics, adults, and optional pediatrics.

Common diagnoses / treatments involve chest pain and congestive heart failure (CHF).

Preferred experience includes pediatrics, TAVR, and Watchman procedures.

Work in the Cardiac Diagnostics department.

The department is equipped with GE 90-95 machines.

The electronic health record system used is EPIC.

Supervision is provided by a manager and lead echo sonographer.

All attire must be clean; no open-toe shoes or tee shirts are allowed.

Nails should be neatly kept.

Fingerprinting and clearance through various state agencies are required prior to employment.

Volunteer clearances are not accepted.
