Job Summary :

  • The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for organizing, consolidating, and analysing congressional and legislative data to support the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Legislative Affairs Office.
  • This role involves ensuring data accuracy, developing reports, and identifying areas for improvement in data management processes.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Organize and consolidate congressional and legislative data for analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry in DLA database platforms.
  • Analyse data for reporting purposes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement a weekly data review checklist to maintain up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with DLA staff to address data gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in legislative or technical fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project Management).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

    • Work Environment & Schedule Hybrid role :

  • Primarily remote with 2 days of on-site work at Fort Belvoir, VA (Wednesdays / Thursdays).

    • Target salary range :

  • $70,000 - $75,000 Powered by JazzHR
