Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district for the 2025-2026 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in empowering students with special needs and fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Position Details :

  • Location : Near Boston, MA
  • Employment Type : Contract, Full-time (37.5 hrs / week)
  • Caseload : Severe (ASD / ABA experience preferred)

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide specialized instruction and support for academic and social development
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and therapists
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
  • Active / Valid Special Education certification in Massachusetts
  • Experience with students with special needs, especially in life skills, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
