Responsibilities Assist in binding insurance policies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements
Train and mentor team members to enhance skill development and performance
Evaluate renewals, new business, and endorsements per established guidelines
Manage underwriting applications to ensure accurate and compliant policy issuance
Communicate with clients to collect required information and address inquiries about the binding process
Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry or binding underwriting
Experience in Cyber or Workers’ Compensation Insurance
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Risk Management and Insurance, Business Administration, or related fields
Strong understanding of underwriting principles and insurance regulations
Proficiency in documentation and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience as an Underwriter Assistant
Active designation from Risk & Insurance Education Alliance or The Institutes
Strong analytical and risk evaluation skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Experience in project management and event marketing
