Mathis Rehab Physical Therapy and Hand Center , in partnership with Doctors of Physical Therapy, is seeking a full time Physical Therapist. Mathis Physical Therapy and Hand Center is located in Manhattan, KS. Physical Therapists are the heart of our clinics! We are looking for a full time Physical Therapist to uphold our excellent patient care standards with one-on-one treatments and contribute to our welcoming and collaborative culture. Full time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Your schedule offers you Monday through Friday scheduling, with Friday afternoons off. Mathis has a very reasonable productivity expectations , 11 - 12 visits per day. Our clinic is professional and fun, with a team that enjoys work time as well as out of the office events. We are staffed with Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Techs and a full administrative support team. We offer in house CE courses throughout the company!
We are looking for a Therapist who can create a patient experience that embodies our vision : to ensure outcomes via evidence-based practice and literature supported treatment which maximizes patient service, quality care, and clinical efficiency.
Setting : Outpatient
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards
- Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
- Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and be able to design a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened patient success.
- Demonstrate consistent Compliance excellence by (not limited to) :
Develop short and long-term goals for patients
Implement plan of careProvide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.Plan and execute discharge of patientMaintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.Medical Specialty :
