Job Title : EHS Analyst
Job Description
The EHS Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, with a primary focus on chemical and hazardous waste management. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, manages hazardous materials, and drives continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the collection, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with RCRA, DOT, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate manifests, inventories, and documentation for hazardous materials.
- Coordinate hazardous waste pickups and ensure proper labeling and segregation.
- Manage chemical inventories, including tracking usage and storage of oils, solvents, and other hazardous substances.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with chemical safety standards.
- Support chemical supply management for manufacturing operations.
- Assist with renewing and maintaining environmental permits (AQMD, CUPA, Storm Water, .
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Support internal and external audits related to EHS compliance.
- Lead or participate in safety walks, GEMBA audits, and incident investigations.
- Foster a strong safety culture and promote best practices across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve recycling, and minimize environmental impact.
Essential Skills

The role primarily involves working in an office setting, but also includes visits to the manufacturing floor for audits. The team is small, consisting of 5-6 members, and is part of a growing organization with a strong focus on work-life balance. The dress code is business casual and the working hours are from 8am to 4 : 30pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
