Availability : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Rotating Hours

Position Summary

The Clinical Services Director of Community Based Programs oversees Greenwich House’s Satellite Clinics with Older Adult Networks across lower Manhattan as well as supervision of the Director of the Family Justice Centers in Manhattan and Queens. The position includes regular travel to each site for observations, supervision, and collaboration with Older Adult Network Directors as well as monthly reporting to the Department of Aging on progress.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of New York State OMH documentation requirements / NYC DOHMH reporting / documentation requirements.
• Understanding of Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTHs) Program regulations.
• Alignment with agency standard of ethics, conduct and organization policies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to accomplish client goals and adapt to changing program environment.
• Good communication skills, self-starter with ability to work independently and to interact with all levels of staff, both internally and externally.
• Must be able to establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks.
• Ability to satisfactorily perform other duties upon request by the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services.
• Knowledge and ability to provide brief techniques, such as crisis intervention and solution-focused approaches.
• Ability to provide long-term approaches when treating chronic mental health disorders or disabilities.
• Rotation of the after-hours crisis management phone for nights and weekend.
