Lead Software Engineer (Finance)

As a Lead Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead project teams of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge software solutions. You will drive technical excellence, ensure project success, and contribute to the overall growth of the software engineering team.

In this role, you will impact the success of our software projects by providing technical guidance, ensuring timely deliveries, and collaborating with business leaders to align with overarching business objectives. You will work in the Thunderbolt Platform CoE, which is chartered with leading the effort toward realizing greater software development efficiency and improved software quality throughout the Aerospace organization.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the software development and delivery of Thunderbolt platform software for multiple applications.
• Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in software engineering processes.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and Thunderbolt domain understanding.
• Drive innovation, creating growth ideas and products for exceptional customer experience.
