Description
The client is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team specializing in the design of mechanical systems for healthcare, higher education, civic, and commercial projects . This role involves contributing to all phases of design and construction, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet the highest engineering and energy standards.
This position is ideal for engineers with a strong foundation in HVAC and hydronic design who are ready to apply their expertise to meaningful, large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver technical design and quality control for assigned projects.
Produce construction documents for new builds, renovations, and additions.
Conduct system calculations, layouts, and ensure compliance with energy / mechanical codes.
Participate in construction administration, including site visits and shop drawing reviews.
Research project-related data and integrate findings into designs.
Assist in writing and maintaining project specifications.
Revise and update drawings based on QA feedback.
Must-Have Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and hydronic design.
Experience in healthcare, higher education, or commercial mechanical systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Trane Trace, and Revit.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Valid drivers license and insured personal vehicle.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
