Our 291-bed, acute care hospital features the San Diego Spine & Joint Center, a highly credentialed acute rehabilitation center, our Paradise Health & Senior Center, a fully equipped and modern cardiac catheterization lab, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and 24-hour emergency services. In addition to our healthcare services, we offer comprehensive behavioral health services on the hospital campus and Bayview campus in Chula Vista. Services include psychiatric continuum of care for adult patients, inpatient services, and intensive outpatient services.

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Generalist manages the day to day operations and provides a wide variety of complex Human Resources support to all levels in the organization, ensuring the comprehensive administration of human resources policy and procedures. The position performs high-level professional duties in a variety of functional core human resources areas including affirmative action, acquisition projects, legal compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, or closely related field.
• PHR, SPHR or relevant human resources certifications or advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7 years recent health care experience in a Human Resources Department.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
• Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $26.00 to $34.99. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
