Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial, venous, carotid, and abdominal exams.
  • Accurately acquire and analyze diagnostic images to support physician interpretation.
  • Prepare preliminary reports and ensure image quality and documentation meet accreditation standards.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Assist in coordinating patient scheduling to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional clinical environment.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

  • One (1) years of clinical and related experience
  • RVT or RVS required
  • Must be a graduate of an approved course in medical sonography.
  • Clinical experience sufficient to be eligible for registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Successful completion of exam with ARDMS required.
  • Experience with Vascular preferred but not required
