As the Full-Time Front-End Manager at Brookhaven Market, you'll be the driving force behind our fantastic cashier team! Get ready to supervise, train, and inspire our cashiers to deliver top-notch customer service every day. You will manage daily operations in the front-end checkout area, ensuring all registers are staffed and running smoothly. Accuracy is key, so you'll oversee transactions, handle cash, and maintain those cash drawers like a pro! You'll tackle customer concerns with a smile, making sure every visitor leaves happy.

By scheduling shifts and optimizing staffing during peak times, you’ll create a well-oiled machine. Collaborating with other departments ensures smooth store operations and a delightful customer flow. Plus, you’ll assist in training new cashiers, instilling best practices and company policies in a fun and engaging way—keeping the atmosphere positive, motivating, and full of teamwork!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a retail or grocery store environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail, especially regarding cash handling and register operations.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Basic computer skills and experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Ability to walk and stand the duration of scheduled shift and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
