LDRP OB Tech / Surg Scrub Tech – Days

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Orientation Date : 10 / 27

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36

Shift Requirements : 12hr day shifts; 0645-1915

Float Requirements : Oconomowoc  Memorial, Mukwonago or like units.

On Call / Call Back Requirements : None

Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal : BLS, OR experience or Surgical Scrub Tech certificate required.

Minimum Experience : 2+ years of experience, High School diploma or equivalent; Must have prior OR experience or a certification from a surgical tech program.

Charting Experience Required : Epic preferred

Unit Specific Skillset : Under the supervision of an RN performs functions for C-Section; emergent hysterectomies, post partum tubal ligation, double set ups, dilation and curettage procedures. Preparing the OR / LDR suites with the required equipment to preform the specific surgical procedures is accordance to the applicable policies, regulation and professional standards at ABSMC. Provides and supports RN in the delivery of patient care in the OB setting.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

Float : Employee should not be asked to work outside of his / her Clinical skills unless approved by employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency. Candidate will be required to float to units and facilities based on census.
