URBAN BRICKS ASSISTANT MANAGER
Position Description
Purpose :
Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations of the restaurant including employee development and performance management. In addition, they assist in inventory, purchasing, food and labor control. Manage profits and ensure the guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The assistant manager reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with the Operational Standards and Company Policy
- Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food and guest service
- Assist in controlling food and labor cost
- Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, upholding standards and conducting performance reviews
- Provide direction to employee regarding operations and procedure
- Assist in ensuring that all financial, personnel, payroll related duties are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to interview, hire and train new staff members
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize cost
