The base pay scale for this position is $72,000.00 - $109,500.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to : scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
Job Description
A position for a Project / Lab Manager is available to work with Drs. Lu and Niewold. The position to manage a new federally-funded collaborative translational research project focused on autoimmunity and lymphatic dysfunction in combination with managing some aspects of the labs of Drs. Lu and Niewold. Responsibilities will include organizing and running the weekly research meetings for the project, regulatory paperwork, ensuring timely progression of the project and meeting of milestones, preparing reports as part of the deliverables, preparing monthly progress reports and meetings with the funding agency, managing and coordinating the outreach and tech transfer aspects of the project, assisting with grant preparation and lab management. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent and experience in project and / or lab management. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in project management and interfacing with multiple research groups with ample opportunities for professional growth.
