We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you will manage complex ETL processes, integrate data from diverse sources including SQL databases and cloud platforms, and ensure the reliability, accuracy, and accessibility of data across the organization. You will collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business leaders to enable data-driven decisions that improve operational efficiency and strategic outcomes. Accountabilities
As a Data Engineer, you will :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for transferring and transforming data between various sources and data warehouses.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes using SQL, Python, and cloud-based tools.
- Integrate data with cloud platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Google BigQuery, and MuleSoft.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and operational monitoring to maintain reliability.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enforce data security measures, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for pipelines, processes, and data models.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.3–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, DBA, Data Architect, or similar role with strong ETL and data warehousing expertise.Proficiency in SQL for extraction, manipulation, and optimization, and hands-on experience with server-based SQL database administration.Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Salesforce Data Cloud, Google BigQuery) and API-led integration tools (MuleSoft).Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation.Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred : experience in healthcare, knowledge of HL7 / FHIR standards, familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).Benefits
