Overview :

SGA is looking to expand our team in Lincoln, Nebraska as we prepare to support Nebraska Football Home Games and other events in the area.

SGA Lists, (SGA Talent Hospitality) is a hospitality-focused staffing group based in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are seeking Concession Workers / Hawkers to join our team. to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional attitude towards serving guests and co-workers.

Job Summary :

The Game Day Concession Worker / Hawker for the University of Nebraska Football is a dynamic role focused on enhancing the game day experience for fans. This position involves selling food and beverages throughout the stadium while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and a commitment to delivering a memorable experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities :

  • Actively engage with fans to promote and sell food and beverage items during home football games.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with event management teams to ensure smooth operations during game days.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the selling area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Utilize public speaking skills to effectively communicate with large groups of fans, promoting products and enhancing their game day experience.
  • Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in customer service and food service operations.

    • Requirements :

  • Previous experience in events management or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong conflict management skills to handle any issues that may arise during high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
  • Experience with cash handling in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • A background in food service or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Lifeguard experience or experience working with children can be beneficial in managing diverse crowds effectively.
  • Public speaking abilities to engage fans and promote products confidently.
