Job Description

Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials. Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste. Collaborate with suppliers to strengthen relationships and negotiate favorable terms. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate with production teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to procurement and inventory management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Provide leadership and direction to the procurement and supply chain team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Materials Manager should have : Solid experience in procurement, inventory control, and supply chain management within the manufacturing industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve operational efficiency. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to build supplier relationships. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
