The Medical Assistant provides professional clinical care for patients following established standards and practices. Prepares patients during office visits and assists patients and family members before, during and after a doctor's visit.

Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.
(FL Only) Certified Medical Assistant preferred OR the ability to obtain the certification within the first 120 days of employment.
To be eligible to obtain an MA certification, you must be a graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR served in the Armed Forces as a Medical Technician with honorable discharge OR obtain a letter of attestation from a currently licensed physician stating that you've worked as a Medical Assistant for at least one year within the last three years.
Current CPR and / or BLS certification preferred OR the ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of employment via Women's Care training.
Experience working in OBGYN or Primary Care a plus.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections, if applicable.
Ability to perform dosage calculations and measurement conversions.
Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, and patients and their family members, both written and verbally.
Must possess good organizational skills, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and be able to work effectively with all levels of aforementioned groups.
Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical records application, preferably eCW.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
