Machine Operator

A well-established manufacturing company in Stratford is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our team.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Pay : $18–$20 / hour, based on experience

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering top-quality work. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate rewind inspection machines to convert large master rolls into finished, customer-ready rolls
• Perform thorough visual inspections of labels to ensure high standards in print quality, alignment, die-cut accuracy, and overall presentation
• Identify and flag / remove defective labels; document quality issues
• Verify roll count, core size, and copy position per customer specifications
• Apply core labels and job-specific identifiers
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Report production or quality concerns to supervisors or QA team
• Assist with packaging rolls for shipment
• Read and interpret customer prints and job travelers
• Work cooperatively across departments as needed
• Follow all company and quality procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional heavy lifting
