Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology / oncology treatment centers offering chemo / bio / and radiation therapies. What You Can Expect From This Role
We are seeking a Lead Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology team. This position will be based in Boise and will support the entire service line, which includes the following clinics : Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland & Twin Falls.
Part-time : 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period)
Schedule : 4x8-hour shifts (variable days, M-F)
No nights, weekends or St. Luke’s observed holidays
Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
Some travel required
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care (~25%-50%) : occasional back up primary and triage coverage
Education (~20%) : developing staff competencies, approved patient education, assist with onboarding and orientation plans for new clinical staff
Clinical Practice and Operations (~15%-20%) : Attend clinical practice meetings and tailor information to Radiation Oncology practices, develop standard workflows and documentation practices across the service line
Quality (~10%) : participate and assist in quality initiatives and be a co-SMART champion
Administrative (~5%) : Manage staff scheduling and timecards
Minimum Qualifications For This Role
Education : Nursing Degree
Experience : Three (3) + years’ RN experience
Licenses / Certifications :
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
Preferred : Radiation Oncology experience and / or Leadership experience
