Job Summary
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll step into a world of thrilling possibilities, transforming the lives of children and families on the autism spectrum. You'll lead and manage clinic and / or home-based intervention programs and treatment teams, guiding dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide exceptional treatment that unlocks the full potential of each child. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a wide range of ABA treatment services, including assessment, program design, progress tracking, program adjustments, parent education, care coordination, and insurance approval. Adhere to state and insurance regulations to maintain exemplary care standards.
- Collaborating with parents and stakeholders, you'll provide clinical recommendations for treatment intensity, modality, and transition / exit planning. The focus will be on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid outcomes for clients.
- Deliver training and supervision to clinical staff at all levels, ensuring the provision of high-quality treatment services.
- Take charge of mentoring and supervising others, focusing on fostering independent clinical skills, problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, and meeting certification requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow clinicians and cross-functional team members to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.
- Telehealth options available
- Billable hours minimum requirement of 28 to 32 hours weekly with the option to achieve 40 hours per week
Mentorship Program
Here at SBC, we offer a structured, mentorship program to our BCBAs that supports professional growth and career development. In this program, you will have an assigned clinical supervisor (or mentor) with regular check-ins during the first 90 days. Through this program, you will also receive guidance on supervising RBTs and trainees as well as obtain CEU opportunities.
Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or a valid state license.
- Able to provide behavior services to clients with autism either in-home or clinic-based settings.
- Possess an active driver's license and a dependable vehicle.
