Position Overview
Delivery drivers- customer service representatives are professionals with extensive knowledge around equipment, irrigation, and landscape assessor products who are responsible for safely operating STI vehicles while delivering products and equipment to our customers.
This position will work on the sales counter, assisting customers through the entire sales process, when not making deliveries.
Driving Duties
- Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision
- Endure timely delivery and / or pickup of products and / or equipment to and from customer facility or job site
- Load and unload products and equipment
- Deliver products and equipment to customers
- Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management
- Assist with warehouse duties, stocking inventory in the warehouse and in the showroom, maintaining the yard while not driving
- Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI
