Required Skills / Experience : \nSkills required : \nExperience with patient types.\nChest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths. \nPreferred - Art line.

Preferred Skills / Experience : \nICU experience preferred. \nImpella and / or IABP experience preferred.

Required Credentials : \nNURSYS.

Types of Patients on Unit : \nPatient Types : \nCHF, Respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients - will see TR bands and the femoral approach; can see femoral sheaths but travelers will not pull them\nSome surgical patients – vascular, abdominal, GI, etc.\nDrips : diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin –

Unit / Facility Details : Unit Beds : 20. \nWill you accept a traveler with 2 years’ experience? Yes. \nWill you accept a first-time traveler? No, need to have completed at least 1 travel assignment. \nPatient Ratios : \n ICU : Typically 2 : 1, sometimes 1 : 1 depending on patient acuity.\nOrientation : \nGeneral Hospital NEO.
