Job Summary

Savannah State University, Department of Engineering Technology invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of Computer Science Technology beginning in Fall 2026. The department is dedicated to excellence in teaching, applied research, and active engagement with industry and professional communities. Faculty members are expected to deliver 12 credit hours of undergraduate instruction per semester in Computer Science Technology, with a focus on cybersecurity following an approved curriculum and assigned schedule.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in Computer Science - Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields by December 1, 2025

Proposed Salary

The proposed salary range is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually.
