Title : Ultrasound Tech – General
Location : Greensboro, NC
Duration : 13 Weeks.
Shift : Rotating Day / Night, 3x12-Hour (05 : 00–17 : 30 / 17 : 00–05 : 30)
Job Responsibilities :
Perform general ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB / GYN (all trimesters), vascular, renal / pelvis, small parts, and pediatric imaging.Conduct specialized exams such as fetal anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, M-mode fetal HR, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies (liver, kidney, thyroid, soft tissue), and occasional drainages / aspirations.Work across multiple patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Provide imaging services in various settings including ER, PICU, OR (D&E procedures), outpatient, inpatient, and portable exams.Support trauma level II hospital needs; rotate to cover weekend and on-call requirements.Utilize imaging systems including PACS and InteleRad PACS; operate Siemens and GE equipment (preferred).Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-volume hospital setting, performing approximately 3 technologist day shifts and 1 evening / night shift on weekdays.Required / Preferred Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience. First-time travelers accepted.BLS certification required.ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required.Strong pediatric ultrasound experience required.EPIC charting system experience required.Travel experience not required.Preferred certifications : ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB / GYN, ARRT S, RVT.Preferred skills : Neonatal, pediatric appendix, intussusception, pylorus, infant heads / hips, liver elastography, ovarian / testicular doppler, renal transplant imaging, TIPPS evaluations, and contrast-enhanced studies.Float to any Cone Health campus may be required.
