Job Description

NOVA Engineering is seeking an ICC Special Inspector in our Panama City Beach, FL location. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Primary duties performing structural building inspections and QA / QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.). Some travel is required. The position will be predominately field located.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
  • Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met
  • Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
  • Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
  • Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
  • Input results and observations into daily reports

Requirements :

  • 2+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience is required
  • ICC Certifications (2 or more) is required : Reinforced Concrete, Soils, Structural Steel & Bolting, Welding
