Description :

Seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a night shift.

Must have a valid nursing license in hand upon submission.

Experience in IV starts is required.

The facility has transitioned to a team-based model of care.

Nurses may be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Scrubs are not provided; specific color is required.

All employees are required to have a flu vaccine, with no exemptions allowed.

Two years of minimum experience required.

Subjects for patient care include adults and geriatrics.

The unit typically handles a daily census of around 32 patients.

Team members include Physical Therapy, Social Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy.

Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, stroke, and encephalopathy.

Travelers need to be informed of the new models of care and staffing requirements.

References from previous supervisors are required.
