Proven ability to produce both low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI). Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout. Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles. Strong communication and presentation skills to advocate for user needs and design decisions. Availability to work EST hours while remote. Experience with A / B testing and data-driven design decisions. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG). Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML / CSS / JS) to collaborate effectively with developers.
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer with strong UI and visual design expertise to craft intuitive, high-performing ecommerce experiences. This fully remote role operates on EST hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX strategy, research, and design for complex ecommerce flows across web and mobile.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Develop and maintain design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into elegant user experiences.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze data, and iterate on designs to optimize conversion and engagement.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team best practices.
