Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position invites dedicated educators skilled in supporting students with visual impairments to contribute to a K-12 educational setting. Located in Concord, NC, this contract opportunity spans the full school year and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development.

Key qualifications and experience include :

  • Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments.
  • Experience working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and educational strategies tailored to visually impaired students.
  • Strong munication skills to collaborate effectively with families and educational teams.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet diverse needs.
