Commercial Plumber Mechanic / Lead

Location : Lynchburg, Va

Pay : $20.00 $32.00 / hr (Based on Experience)

Per Diem : Available (Based on 45 workdays)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced plumber mechanics and lead level professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This role involves working on various jobs in Lynchburg, Va. The position requires proficiency in plumbing, installation, and maintenance tasks within a commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Run and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe.
• Work effectively with a helper.
• Read blueprint drawings and install press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe at the Journeyman level.
• Lead a crew consisting of a mechanic and a helper at the Lead Mechanic level.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
• Perform labor duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems.
• Maintain clean work areas.

Pay :

2-4 years experience - up to $24 / hr

Journeymen- up to $29 / hr

Lead Mechanic- up to $32 / hr MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A LEAD- be able to lead small crew

Apprentice - up to $22 / hr

2-4 years experience - up to $24 / hr

Journeymen- up to $29 / hr

Lead Mechanic- up to $34 / hr (Must have experience as a Lead- overseeing small crews 2+ people)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled sheet metal mechanics and lead mechanics with over 3 years of experience. The roles are available across multiple sites, including Lynchburg and Roanoke, Va.

Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from reading blueprints to leading teams, and will be working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year.
