Occupational Therapist Las Cruces NM Urgently Hiring We are seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to improve our patients’ quality of life through accurate, timely and effective diagnosis and treatments. Ideally, the incoming Occupational Therapist has strong communication skills, enjoys helping others on their journey to health recovery, and likes to work within a well-respected multidisciplinary team of PTs, LMT, ATCs, and OTs to bring our patients the highest level of care. Preferably we are looking for an OT with outpatient experience / interest and someone who has training in hand therapy and splinting. Duties : Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Restore healthy function within the scope and standard of occupational therapy care. Fully engage patients in their recovery process. Seamlessly co-manage patient care with the provider team. Contribute to collaborative care model with the provider team. Diagnose health problems through review of patient medical history and information provided during observational questions and examination. Join with and engage patients’ commitment and participation in their treatment plan and return to health. Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning and prevent dysfunction in patients. Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Maintain complete records for each patient of each encounter. Manage each patient case in collaboration with provider colleagues. Administer and / or oversee treatments and therapies Oversight of COTA and Aides Lead Las Cruces program in conjunction with our OT staff in other locations. Track quality and productivity Work towards Hand Certification and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Training Requirements : Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program State of New Mexico Occupational Therapy license Preferably has outpatient exp / interest and has training in hand therapies / splinting Compensation : $100k plus potential bonus compensation Schedule : Full time with potential to move to a 4-day work week Benefits : PTO / paid holidays and sick time Bonus compensation : up to 20% of regular salary is paid quarterly when metrics are met Health Insurance Vision and Dental insurance Counseling and Mentorship ( Structured 2 year mentoring program) Disability coverage Life Insurance Tuition reimbursement We bring a team of specialists from different disciplines who consult and work together to provider our patients with comprehensive care.
